Judy leads with a strong commitment to compassionate care, organizational excellence, and service to families across the San Antonio area. As Founder and CEO, she helps guide the vision of both Amedia Hospice and Living Tree of Life Home Health while supporting a culture centered on dignity, trust, and patient-focused care.
Frank Gamboa
Founder & CFO
Frank helps oversee the financial and operational strength of the organization. As Founder and CFO, he supports sustainable growth, responsible leadership, and the systems that allow the team to serve patients and families with consistency and care.
River Ross
Administrator – Amedia Hospice
Alt Administrator – Living Tree of Life Home Health
River Ross started in hospice as a volunteer in 2016, and shortly after pursued employment within the industry after falling in love with the hospice philosophy and mission. A decade later, he has been a hospice administrator for five years, and has been the administrator for Amedia Hospice the past three.
As the administrator for Amedia, River focuses on leading with compassion, supporting his team, and continuously improving the quality of care. The team at Amedia Hospice work to ensure that every patient is treated with dignity and every family feels heard, comforted, and supported. Their commitment is to create an environment where exceptional, compassionate care is the standard at every stage of the hospice journey.
Liz Jewell, RN
Director of Nursing Amedia Hospice
Supervising Nurse – Living Tree of Life Home Health
Liz Jewell, RN brings clinical leadership and patient-centered oversight to both hospice and home health services. Her focus is on supporting quality care, strong clinical standards, and a compassionate experience for every patient and family served.
